Mysterious Ljubljanica River
The Ljubljanica river springs from several karstic springs in the vicinity of Vrhnika, and flows through the whole of the Ljubljana Marshes towards the centre of Ljubljana and beyond. In the section before the city centre, it offers secret, lesser-known spots for sports and recreation. It was masterfully integrated into the urban centre by the master architect, Plečnik, with its maintained embankments and Tromostovje (Triple Bridge).
